Eventective, GigSalad, Peerspace, or XMotiveNow?
Planning an event in Hampton Roads? Here’s a simple way to choose where to find a space, hire talent, discover events, or list your business.
Start with what you need.
These platforms solve different parts of event planning. One helps you find a venue. Another helps you hire performers. One focuses on hourly spaces. XMotiveNow is building a local discovery network that brings several listing types together in one place.
Good for: Finding party, wedding, and meeting venues, plus event vendors. It helps people compare options and connect with providers.
Good for: Finding performers and event pros like singers, DJs, hosts, photographers, and entertainers, with a booking process.
Good for: Finding unique spaces to rent by the hour for parties, meetings, shoots, and other activities.
Good for: Finding Hampton Roads events, venues, services, performers, rentals, homes, classes, and programs. Ticket and booking features depend on listing setup and approval.
What makes XMotiveNow different?
We’re building XMotiveNow around the community we know: Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and nearby Hampton Roads cities. We’re also welcoming businesses across North Carolina.
The idea is simple. A person searching for a birthday venue may also need a photographer, caterer, entertainer, or party rental. Someone promoting a concert may need a ticket page. A local instructor may need a way for people to find a class.
XMotiveNow helps bring those next steps together. The site is growing, so not every city, listing, or category has a full lineup yet.
What can you find—or list?

Can customers pay or book on XMotiveNow?
Eligible listings can support on-site tickets, free RSVPs, or booking requests after the owner completes the required setup and XMotiveNow approves it. An informational listing does not automatically accept payment or bookings.
For paid events promoted on XMotiveNow, organizers must offer a real ticket allocation through XMotiveNow checkout when activated. The organizer may also sell through other channels, but a promoted listing should give XMotiveNow visitors a clear way to buy here.
Which should you use?
Use Eventective when you want to research event venues and vendors. Try GigSalad when you want to compare and hire entertainers. Explore Peerspace when you need a venue with hourly rental options. You can use more than one platform. The right choice depends on your city, event needs, available listings, and booking terms.
